Why Visit Maldives

  • The Maldives offers the world's finest overwater villa experience — steps from your private deck lead directly into luminous turquoise water above living coral reefs.

  • Snorkelling and diving here is exceptional year-round — manta rays, whale sharks, reef sharks, nurse sharks, and hundreds of fish species are encountered on everyday house-reef swims.

  • As a Muslim-majority nation, the Maldives is naturally welcoming to Arab travellers — Halal food is available on all resort islands, and local island hospitality is warm.

  • The profound privacy of individual resort islands — most accessible only by speedboat or seaplane — delivers a seclusion that crowded high-density destinations simply cannot offer.

Travel Tips

  • Seaplane transfers are spectacular but weather-dependent — confirm your transfer type when booking and build in flexibility on departure day.

  • Book luxury resort islands at least 3–4 months ahead for peak season (December–February). Honeymoon stays are extremely popular from Amman.

  • Overwater villas face either the sunrise (east) or sunset (west) side of the island — confirm which matters to you at booking.

  • All resort islands are fully Halal-certified — no alcohol on local inhabited islands; alcohol is confined to resort islands as per Maldivian law.

  • Entry conditions and visa requirements can change. Always confirm current rules with the Maldivian embassy or a Ramada Tours consultant before booking.
