Overview
Antalya is where the Turkish coast does resort holidays properly — long beaches, a well-developed hotel strip, and enough history nearby to break up the sunbathing. This journey is deliberately light on scheduling: the resort is the base and most of the week is yours. Two optional half-days cover Kaleiçi, the walled old town with its Roman harbour and Hadrian’s Gate, and the Düden waterfalls just outside the city. Families tend to choose the all-inclusive resorts along Lara and Belek; couples often prefer a smaller property closer to the old town. Both are quotable, and the difference matters more than the star rating.
Highlights
- Long Mediterranean beaches and resort comfort

Important Notes
Antalya summers are hot, and July and August are both the busiest and the most expensive period — late spring and early autumn offer better value and gentler weather, particularly for families with young children or older travellers. Resort facilities, pool opening and children’s clubs vary by property and season and are confirmed before booking. Entry requirements differ by nationality and are verified before confirmation.
