Bangkok & Phuket Journey

Bangkok & Phuket Journey

Thailand9D / 8NMulti-city Journey

Overview

The city-then-beach structure is standard for Thailand because it genuinely works. Bangkok needs three nights — enough for the Grand Palace and Wat Pho, a longtail boat through the canals, and at least one evening at a night market without feeling rushed. Phuket then provides the recovery: five nights on the Andaman coast with a boat day into Phang Nga Bay among the limestone karsts, and the rest unscheduled. The domestic flight between them takes little more than an hour. Beach and island conditions vary considerably by monsoon season, and we will advise honestly on timing rather than selling any month as equally good.

Important Notes

Thailand's Andaman coast has a distinct monsoon season during which sea conditions can be rough and some island excursions do not operate; the timing shifts year to year and is confirmed before travel rather than assumed. Boat excursions are always weather-dependent and occasionally cancelled at short notice. Temple visits require modest dress with shoulders and knees covered, and this is enforced. Bangkok is hot and humid year-round. Entry requirements differ by nationality and are verified before confirmation.
