Overview
Dubai works well for families, but only if the itinerary respects the climate and the children’s stamina. This journey uses a beach or beach-access hotel as the base and keeps outdoor sightseeing to mornings and evenings, leaving the middle of the day for the pool or an indoor attraction. Two guided half-days cover the modern city and the older creek district, and the rest is deliberately unscheduled so families can choose between theme parks, water parks, the aquarium and the beach according to the ages in the group and the weather on the day. Attraction tickets are quoted rather than bundled, because which ones make sense depends entirely on how old the children are.

Important Notes
Entry requirements for the UAE vary significantly by nationality, and many travellers require a visa arranged in advance rather than on arrival — please raise the nationality of every traveller at enquiry stage so the correct arrangement and processing time are quoted. Dubai is very hot from June to September; outdoor attractions and beach time are far more comfortable between November and March, and we will say so rather than sell a July departure without comment. Minimum height and age restrictions apply at most theme park rides and vary by venue — tell us your children’s ages and we will confirm what is suitable before you book tickets.
